KULGAM: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today chaired the 10th meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) under Mission YUVA, a flagship initiative aimed at promoting self-employment and entrepreneurial growth among the youth of the district. During the meeting, the committee approved 258 cases, comprising 249 under the Nano category 07 under MSME, and 02 under Existing enterprises. 

These cases had been thoroughly scrutinized and recommended for approval by the Small Business Development Unit (SBDU) after due evaluation of feasibility and viability parameters.

While reviewing the progress of the Mission, the Deputy Commissioner underscored the need for continuous output tracking, structured mentorship and comprehensive capacity-building programmes for the entrepreneurs to ensure long-term sustainability and measurable outcomes of the approved ventures.

He further directed all line departments to maintain robust inter-departmental coordination and adopt a proactive facilitation approach for seamless implementation of Mission YUVA in the district.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Kulgam, General Manager DIC, Assistant Director Employment, District Social Welfare Officer , Lead District Manager  Kulgam, District Nodal Officer JKEDI, Career Counselling Officer & Employment Officer  DE&CC Kulgam.
