RAMBAN: Chairperson District Development Council Ramban Dr. Shamshad Shan today kick started the macadamization work on several key road projects in the Gool Sub-Division. The projects include the Gool Jubilee to Old Dak Bungalow via Forest Guest House, Gool Gundi Dharm Tatapani Road and Gool Dheda via Dachan Road. The total estimated cost of the works is Rs. 139 lakh, covering a total length of 4 kilometers.
The works are being executed under the supervision of AEE Taraq Ahmed and JE Mohammed Nadeem Shah. Speaking on the occasion, the Chairperson said that completion of these road projects would fulfill a long-pending demand of the local residents thereby improving connectivity and boosting development in the area.
She further emphasized that the government is committed to ensuring better road infrastructure in remote and hilly areas to facilitate smooth transportation and improve the socio-economic conditions of the people.
