NAGROTA: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir President and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Sat Sharma (CA), conducted a series of election strategy meetings in connection with the upcoming Nagrota Assembly by-election.
Accompanied by senior party leaders, Sharma visited village Kalorma of Panchayat Seri, where he met prominent citizens and a large gathering of women, and discussed in detail the election preparations and booth-level strategies with local party workers.
Later, Sharma also visited Seri Pandita, Ranjan, and adjoining villages, holding interactions with the residents and seeking feedback on local development issues. He met prominent citizens at the residence of late Pandit Sitaram Ji at Seri Pandita, emphasizing the importance of strengthening grassroots connectivity and ensuring people’s participation in the democratic process.
Addressing the gatherings, Sat Sharma asserted that the Modi Government has worked tirelessly for the welfare of all sections of society without any regional or community-based bias, implementing schemes that uplift every segment, be it urban, rural, or remote. He said that the BJP’s governance model truly symbolizes “Unity in Diversity” and reflects the essence of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.”
Sharma, who also canvassed in a remote village inhabited predominantly by the Gujjar community, highlighted how Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership has ensured inclusive development across regions and communities, benefitting people from all religions, castes, and sub-castes alike.
Sat Sharma stressed that the BJP stands committed to taking forward the mission of equitable growth and peace in Jammu and Kashmir and that every area from the remotest hamlet to the urban center will witness progress under the BJP’s vision for a prosperous and united India.
