DODA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Harvinder Singh today conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Associated Hospital, Government Medical College (GMC) Doda. He reviewed patient care services, availability of medicines and overall sanitation in the institution.
He visited various sections of the hospital, inspected Emergency Ward, diagnostic labs and interacted with patients and attendants to obtain feedback on the quality of healthcare facilities being provided at the Health Institution.
The DC Doda also reviewed the cleanliness and sanitation of the hospital premises. He directed the Medical Superintendent to maintain high standards of hygiene in all sections of the hospital, while emphasizing timely disposal of biomedical waste and proper upkeep of critical care units.
Further, the Deputy Commissioner checked the availability of essential medicines and equipment, instructing the concerned officers to maintain adequate stock to meet patient requirements at all times.
He urged the hospital administration to work with dedication and maintain a patient-friendly environment, ensuring that all necessary facilities are provided efficiently to the people of the district.
