DODA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Harvinder Singh today inaugurated newly developed Berbagi Ground here, marking a significant step toward strengthening sports infrastructure and promoting youth engagement in the Doda District.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Tehsildar, Engineers from PWD (R&B), officials from Youth Services & Sports and other Departments. A large number of local residents, including civil society members, children and youth also participated in the event with great enthusiasm.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of developing quality sports infrastructure to nurture local talent and provide better recreational facilities for the youth.
Later, the DC Doda inspected the ongoing works at the ground and directed the concerned departments and engineers to ensure that all repair and development works are completed within the stipulated time frame while maintaining quality standards. He also stressed on creating open and accessible spaces for community use, particularly for children and sports enthusiasts.
