KISHTWAR: District administration Kishtwar is gearing up for Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas–2025 campaign being conducted from November 1 to November 15, 2025. To discuss the arrangements and chalk out the strategies, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pankaj Kumar Sharma today chaired a meeting in the VC Room of the DC Office.
Detailed deliberations were held on various aspects of the event, including logistic arrangements, participation of tribal communities, awareness activities and coordination among stakeholder departments to ensure the smooth and impactful activities across the district.
The DC directed the Education Department to organize activities across all educational institutions to actively engage students and generate awareness about the significance of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas–2025. The DC further directed all Heads of Departments (HODs) of line departments to ensure effective coordination and collaboration for the successful implementation of the programme at the grassroots level.
It was informed that a mega event would be organized on the concluding day- November 15 for the welfare of the tribal people at the District Headquarters. The meeting was attended by ADC Pawan Kotwal; PO ICDS Rishi Kumar Sharma; CEO KDA Kaiser Bhawani; CPO Akhil Thakur; and other Officers.
