BARAMULLA: In connection with the National Youth Festival 2025–26, the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Baramulla, today organized a vibrant and inspiring District-Level Viksit Bharat Cultural and Innovation Track Competition at the Indoor Stadium, Khawaja Bagh Baramulla. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 150 schooling and non-schooling youth in the 15–29 years age group, showcasing their creativity, intellect, and cultural brilliance.

The competitions included Declamation, Story Writing, Painting, Folk Dance, Poetry Writing, and Innovation (Science Mela Exhibition), each reflecting the spirit of Viksit Bharat and the boundless energy of India’s youth. The event was graced by various dignitaries from various departments who lauded the efforts of the young participants and emphasized the importance of nurturing innovation and cultural expression among youth.

A panel of judges drawn from reputed institutions evaluated the performances and selected the best talents who will represent District Baramulla at the Divisional Level Competition. At the valedictory ceremony, the best performers were given certificates and trophies, applauding their outstanding contributions and spirited participation. The event reflected the department’s continued commitment to empowering young minds through opportunities that blend art, culture, innovation, and national development.
