SAMBA: A Vigilance Awareness Workshop was organized by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Government of Jammu & Kashmir, in collaboration with the District Administration Samba to mark the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week being observed from October 27 to November 2, 2025.
The objective of the observance is to raise awareness among government employees, the general public, and whistle-blowers about the ill effects of corruption and the importance of integrity, honesty and ethical behavior in public service.
The workshop emphasized the significance of maintaining transparency and accountability in administration and encouraged individuals to report any instance of wrongdoing. The event served as a reminder of the collective responsibility of citizens and public servants alike to uphold the highest standards of integrity, thereby strengthening the foundation of clean and ethical governance.
Earlier, the Functionaries of District Administration virtually joined pledge ceremony held in the Divisional Commissioner Jammu, where the Div Com Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, administered the Integrity Pledge to public servants and other stakeholders.
Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan; Additional Deputy Commissioner Jagdish Singh; Dy SP ACB Jammu; Assistant Commissioner (Revenue); Programme Officer, ICDS and other district/sectoral officers and Heads of Departments participated in the pledge ceremony through video conferencing from the Conference Hall of Administrative Complex, Nandani Hills.
