DODA: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Harvinder Singh today chaired a meeting to review the delivery of tool kits to artisans under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Scheme.
The meeting held in the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, also aimed to verify the authenticity of reports regarding delivery of damaged tool kits to the artisans and to review the overall implementation and distribution process under the scheme.
The DDC emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability and strict adherence to quality standards to ensure that genuine beneficiaries receive the intended support. He directed the concerned officers to conduct on-ground assessment and submit factual reports within the stipulated time frame.
The meeting was attended by the General Manager DIC Mohammad Ashfaq, Superintendent ITI, Superintendent Post Offices, Assistant Director Handicrafts and Handloom, Manager CSC, Post Master Doda Division and officials of allied departments. Other officers and officials from concerned departments joined virtually.
