RAMBAN: The District Administration Ramban today commenced the “Vigilance Awareness Week, 2025” under the theme “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility.” Officers and officials from line departments, led by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan, took the Integrity Pledge at the District Administrative Complex, marking the formal launch of the campaign.
The event witnessed the presence of SSP ACB DKR Abdul Qayoom; SSP Ramban Arun Gupta; ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak; ACR Shokat Hayat Mattoo; SDM Banihal Mohammad Naseeb Bajraan, district officers, officials and prominent citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that promoting transparency and accountability in governance is a shared responsibility and a vital step towards building a corruption-free system, a key to holistic development of the nation.
Similar pledge-taking ceremonies and awareness activities were organized at the Sub-Division, Tehsil, and institutional levels across the district. The initiative aims to unite all stakeholders in spreading the message of honesty, integrity, and collective responsibility towards achieving the vision of a “Corruption-Free India for a Developed Nation.”
