KISHTWAR: Leader of Opposition, Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Sunil Sharma has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Kishtwar following the visit of a high-level team from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Airports Authority of India.
Calling it a historic milestone, Shri Sharma said the visit marks a decisive step towards the development of the Kishtwar Airport under the UDAN scheme, fulfilling a long-cherished dream of the people of the region. He said this development stands as a shining example of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s visionary leadership and his firm resolve to ensure balanced and inclusive growth in every corner of the nation.
“This is truly a dream come true for the people of Kishtwar and Erstwhile Doda District. Under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, India has witnessed unprecedented progress in infrastructure, connectivity, and regional development. The UDAN scheme is transforming remote and hilly areas by linking them with the national mainstream, and today, Kishtwar proudly joins that journey,” Shri Sharma said.
He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, MoS PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh Ji, and the Minister of Civil Aviation for their continuous support and for considering the long-pending demand of the people of Kishtwar.
