JAMMU: Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS), in association with the Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), organized a spiritual discourse titled “Kriya Yoga Meditation as a Remedy for Stress, Worry, and Anxiety”. The event, based on the teachings of the revered spiritual teacher Paramahansa Yogananda, took place at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu and drew an enthusiastic audience eager to explore the life-changing benefits of Kriya Yoga.
The talk was delivered by Swami Smaranananda Giri, the Vice President of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India. With a distinguished academic background, Swamiji holds a Post-Doctoral Fellowship from Concordia University in Montreal and a PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. He has received numerous honors, including state and university gold medals, and the Distinguished Alumnus Award from IIT Kharagpur.
Swami Smaranananda Giri offered profound insights into the transformative power of Kriya Yoga, emphasizing its ability to harmonize the body, mind, and soul.
