- IIMB, in partnership with TBS Education, France, to convene aviation sector leaders
BENGALURU: With the mission to foster meaningful dialogue that shapes the strategic direction of a sector critical to global connectivity and national growth, IIM Bangalore, in partnership with TBS Education, France, is set to host the 8th edition of the International Conference on Future of Aviation and Aerospace (FOAA) on 19 April 2025, from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm (IST), at Taj MG Road, Bangalore.
The annual global summit, organized by IIMBâs Executive Education Programmes, brings together industry experts, researchers, and scholars to deepen the understanding of the current and future state of the sector.
The conference will be inaugurated by Hon. Shri Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, Minister, Civil Aviation of India. Hon. Shri Vumlunmang Vualnam, Secretary, Civil Aviation Ministry; Savyasachi Srinivas, Vice President, Collins Aerospace; Prof. Rishikesha T. Krishnan, Director, IIMB; Prof. Padmini Srinivasan, Chairperson, Executive Education Programmes, Prof. G Shainesh and Prof. S Raghunath, Conference Chairs will be present.
The FOAA 2025 will feature keynote speakers and panel discussions anchored by several C-suite executives from aviation and aerospace companies and professors of IIM Bangalore.
Topics to be explored include Market potential for aviation and aerospace in India; Design and manufacture in India for global aerospace and aviation market: Opportunities and challenges; Make in India- The achievements of Indian companies; Opportunities and challenges in the EVtol and Drone market; and the Future of AI and analytics in aviation and aerospace.
Attendees will have the chance to build meaningful connections, explore potential collaborations, and expand their professional network across global and domestic players. The conference also serves as a platform to stay current with the latest research, policy developments, and best practices that are driving the future of aviation and aerospace.
The event will feature CEOs, Directors and Senior Management representatives from organizations like McKinsey & Company, Tejas, Light Combat Aircraft, GE Aerospance, Airbus Indigo etc. The initiative is part of a broader partnership between IIMB and TBS, which includes a General Management Executive Education Programme designed specifically for executives in the aviation and aerospace sectors.
