She highlighted the decision of issuing an additional 25 lakh free LPG connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) as a commendable and historic step.

Sanjita Dogra stated that this decision will be implemented in the current financial year, enabling access to clean fuel for poor and needy women across the country. She emphasized that this step is not merely a social welfare scheme, but also an initiative aimed at promoting better health, self-respect, and self-reliance among women.

She added that the Ujjwala Yojana has freed crores of women from the use of traditional stoves, helping them avoid smoke-related illnesses. Moreover, it also contributes to environmental protection. The scheme plays a crucial role in raising the standard of living for women, especially in rural areas. Dogra further stated that with this new approval, the total number of beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will now rise to 10.58 crore, which is an extraordinary achievement and a testament to the government’s continued commitment to the welfare of the poor.

Expressing her gratitude to the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sanjita Dogra said that the BJP government is committed to empowering the weakest sections of society, following the mantra of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas. She said that the initiative is not just a major step toward women's empowerment, but also lays the foundation for a clean and safe life for future generations.
