JAMMU: Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar on Saturday organised a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on Dental Sciences & Oral Health. As many as 60 Dental Surgeons from four Districts- Jammu, Poonch, Rajouri & Reasi participated in the event. The CME was divided into an opening ceremony and scientific Session. Director Health Services (Jammu), Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar inaugurated the event in presence of Deputy Director Dentistry, Dr. Sanjay Sharma; Medical Superintendent, Dr. Narinder Singh Bhatial and Sr. Consultant Dentistry, Dr. Rohit Kohli.

In his inaugural address, the Director Health Services appreciated the work done by Dental Surgeons in the field and motivated them to take up the Administrative Job for better patient care. During the Scientific Session, Associate Professor Indira Gandhi Government Dental College Jammu, Dr. Ajay Gupta spoke on "Fundamentals of Post and Core". Assistant Professor Dr. Amrit Pal Singh threw light on "Facial Infections", while Consultant GMC Rajouri Dr. Israr spoke on "Maxillofacial Injuries".

Pain & Palliative Care Specialist, Dr. Rohit Lahori acquainted the participants on "Trigeminal Neuralgia" while Sr. Consultant Dentistry, Dr. Rohit Kohli spoke on "Osseo Integration in Dentistry" and  Dr. Bhavneet Kaur, Consultant Dentistry talk covered "Pedodontic Sutras".
