BUDGAM: For the smooth conduct of the upcoming Bye-Elections to 27-Assembly Constituency Budgam, the second Randomisation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) was successfully carried out today in the presence of General Observer, Bhor Singh Yadav; Police Observer, Nachiketa Jha and Returning Officer Afroza Bano for 27-AC Budgam.

Representatives of contesting candidates also attended the randomisation process, conducted strictly as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI), thereby ensuring transparency and fairness in the electoral exercise.

Also, Nodal Officer ETPBS, and other senior officials from the District administration were present during the process. Entire process was videographed as per ECI guidelines.

Copies of lists of randomized CUs/BUs and VVPATs for 173 polling stations were handed over to the representatives of the political parties/candidates present in the meeting during the randomization.

Both the General and Police observers also interacted with representatives of political parties/Candidates to take feedback on the election-related matters, and ensure transparent electoral processes.
