SAMBA: Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Ayushi Sudan, the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department Samba organised a sensitization event to mark Vigilance Awareness Week–2025.

The event, held under the theme “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility” aimed at sensitizing officers and officials about the importance of integrity, transparency and ethical conduct in public administration.

The event was led by TSO Veerpal, who spoke about the significance of preventive vigilance and the crucial role each employee plays in maintaining public trust. He emphasized that collective responsibility and honesty in the service delivery are key pillars of good governance.

Officials and staff members of the department actively participated in the programme and took the Integrity Pledge, reaffirming their resolve to uphold the highest standards of probity and dedication in their professional duties.

The week-long observance will include various awareness activities, pledge ceremonies and interactive discussions to promote ethical values and a corruption-free work culture.
