BARAMULLA: Continuing its drive against illicit cultivation of cannabis, police in Baramulla conducted a bung (wild cannabis) destruction drive in the Nowpora area of Police Post Wagoora.

During the drive, naturally grown bung was identified and destroyed on the spot. The operation was conducted smoothly and peacefully with the active cooperation of local youth and the Masjid Committee. Police reiterated its commitment to curbing the cultivation of illicit narcotic plants and urged the public to extend continued cooperation in making the district drug-free.
