JAMMU: Prominent personalities from Thanamandi in the Rajouri district, led by Haji Nasir Hussain, a retired Forest Department officer, joined BJP in the presence of Sat Sharma, J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP, and Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization), J&K BJP, at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

J&K BJP General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra and Gopal Mahajan, former DDC Iqbal Malik, Mandal President Riaz Choudhary, along with other senior party leaders, were also present on the occasion and welcomed the new entrants into the BJP fold.

Welcoming the new members, Sat Sharma said that the continuous expansion of the BJP reflects the growing trust of the people in the policies and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that people from every region and every section of society are joining the BJP because they recognize it as a party committed to nationalism, good governance, transparency, and inclusive development.

Sat Sharma stated that the BJP has transformed the political culture by placing public welfare above political interests. He said the party remains dedicated to ensuring that the benefits of Central Government schemes reach every deserving citizen without discrimination. He expressed confidence that the new entrants would further strengthen the party at the grassroots and help carry the message of development, peace, and progress to every household in the Rajouri district.

Ashok Koul, speaking on the occasion, said that the BJP is a cadre-based organization where every worker gets an opportunity to serve society and contribute to nation-building. He said the party's strength lies in its disciplined workers and strong organizational structure, which have enabled it to connect with the people across Jammu and Kashmir.

Ashok Koul urged the new entrants to actively engage with the people, strengthen the party at the booth level, and work with dedication to address public concerns. He said the BJP is committed to empowering every region of Jammu and Kashmir through development-oriented governance and public participation.

Speaking on behalf of the new entrants, Haji Nasir Hussain expressed gratitude to the BJP leadership for welcoming them into the party. He said they had joined the BJP after being inspired by the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party's commitment to national unity and equitable development. He assured the leadership that they would work wholeheartedly to strengthen the BJP in Thanamandi and Rajouri, expand its public outreach, and serve the people with sincerity and dedication.
