SHOPIAN: The “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign was launched across Shopian with immense enthusiasm, witnessing active participation from citizens, students, and the local administration.  The initiative aimed at honouring the National Flag and celebrating the spirit of patriotism and national pride.

A mega function was held here at Government girls Higher Secondary School Shopian. The campaign saw widespread engagement as people from different walks of life came together to express their respect for the Tricolour and reaffirm their commitment to the nation. Schools and local institutions also played a significant role in spreading awareness about the significance of the campaign.

On the occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Dr.Zakir Hussain Faaz addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative in strengthening the bond between citizens and the nation.

He emphasized that the campaign serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the responsibility of every citizen to uphold the values of unity and integrity.

The event also featured vibrant cultural programmes presented by students, showcasing patriotic songs, performances, and creative expressions that reflected love for the country and respect for the National Flag.
