KATRA: Students from the BBA program of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) have achieved remarkable success in the July-December session of NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) certification courses. Their achievements highlight the university's dedication to skill enhancement and experiential learning. Rishav Bhardwaj stood out by securing a place in the top 2% of participants, earning an impressive 90% marks and a gold medal in the "Introduction to GST" course.
This course, offered by Prof. Anil Sharma of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), certified 975 individuals, among whom 2 BBA students from SMVDU also earned silver medals. Kashish Mahajan also brought laurels to the university by ranking in the top 5% with 90% marks and a gold medal in the "Developing Soft Skills and Personality" course, conducted by Prof. T. Ravichandran of IIT Kanpur. Out of the 10,687 participants certified in this course, 12 BBA students from SMVDU achieved silver medals.
