RAJOURI: In an effort to address the public grievances at the doorsteps, the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat today convened a public outreach camp at panchayat Draman in block Budhal New under the weekly Block Diwas program.
The camp provided a platform to the public and their representatives for highlighting various issues, including power and water supply, healthcare facilities, roads, education, and drainage systems. The officers from different departments also replied to the issues raised by the public during the event.
The DC, Om Prakash Bhagat, patiently listened to the concerns of the public and assured them that their genuine demands would be addressed in a time-bound manner.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the dedication of the district administration for the development and its efforts to provide government services at the doorstep of the general public.
He directed the concerned officers to take immediate measures to mitigate the problems highlighted during the camp. He also assured the participants that the best possible efforts are being made to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries are covered under various government schemes as per the guidelines of the schemes. The DC exhorted upon the officers to work with zeal, devotion and dedication to provide facilities at the doorstep of the public.
