JAMMU: The BJP Human Rights Cell, Jammu & Kashmir, strongly condemns the remarks of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani opposing the proposed programme of RSS Sarsanghchalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat Ji at Madison Square Garden.
Sarfraz Hamid Rather, Co-Convenor, BJP Human Rights Cell, J&K, said that in the context of Shri Mohan Bhagwat Ji’s proposed visit, the remarks of Mayor Mamdani are unfortunate and divisive.
Rather further said that pluralism means respecting differing views and allowing people to express themselves peacefully, even when one disagrees with them. “Mayor Mamdani should not spread hatred or division in the context of Mohan Bhagwat Ji. As Mayor of a city known for its diversity, he should uphold tolerance, equality and freedom of expression for all,” Rather said.
