JAMMU: J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma chaired separate organizational meetings of the BJP Minority Morcha and OBC Morcha at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, and called for an aggressive, sustained and grassroots-oriented approach to further strengthen the BJP’s connect with these important sections of society.
BJP General Secretaries Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan, along with Minority Morcha President Ranjodh Singh Nalwa and OBC Morcha President Brahmjyot Satti, participated in the respective meetings with their teams.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the meetings, said that the BJP believes in taking every section of society forward on the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.” He said that the party’s strength lies in its inclusive approach, which has transformed the political landscape by ensuring that development, welfare and opportunities reach people without discrimination.
“The BJP does not believe in vote-bank politics, it believes in empowerment politics. Our Minority and OBC Morchas must work as strong bridges between the party and the people, ensuring that the benefits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s welfare and development-oriented governance reach every eligible beneficiary,” Sat Sharma said.
He directed the Morcha teams to intensify booth-level outreach, regularly interact with community members, identify their genuine concerns and take them up through the appropriate platforms. He stressed that organizational strength must be reflected at the grassroots and called upon the workers to remain active among the people throughout the year rather than limiting their activities to elections.
Baldev Singh Billawaria said that a strong BJP organization is built through continuous public contact and dedicated grassroots workers. He urged the Morchas to expand their teams and ensure effective coordination with Mandal and Booth-level units.
Gopal Mahajan said that the BJP’s organizational model is based on service, contact and constructive politics. He called upon workers to communicate the achievements of the Modi government and expose the divisive and vote-bank politics of opposition parties.
Ranjodh Singh Nalwa said that the Minority Morcha would further intensify its outreach and ensure that genuine issues of the minority communities are effectively highlighted within the party organization.
Brahmjyot Satti said that the OBC Morcha would strengthen its booth-level presence and work towards greater awareness among OBC communities about the welfare, reservation and empowerment initiatives undertaken under BJP governments.
