SHOPIAN: J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul chaired organizational meetings with the Shopian Constituency team, Booth Presidents and Shakti Kendra In-charges at the Circuit House, Shopian.
A separate meeting of the District Office Bearers of Shopian was also chaired by Ashok Koul at the Circuit House. The meetings focused on organizational priorities, review of ongoing activities, preparations for upcoming programmes, strengthening the party’s grassroots presence and improving coordination among different organisational levels.
District Prabhari Shopian Sofi Yusuf, District President Raja Waseem and senior leaders Javaid Qadri, Yusuf Bhat and Yunis Shah were present during the meetings. Ashok Koul, addressing the meetings, said that the BJP’s greatest strength is its disciplined and committed cadre and that the party’s success depends upon the effectiveness of its grassroots organization.
Ashok Koul stressed that every booth worker is the face of the BJP before the people. Our responsibility is not limited to elections, we have to remain continuously connected with the people, understand their concerns and ensure that the welfare and development initiatives of the Narendra Modi government reach the deserving beneficiaries, he said.
Koul called upon Booth Presidents and Shakti Kendra In-charges to maintain regular contact with people, strengthen booth committees and ensure effective coordination between the booth, Shakti Kendra, Mandal and district levels. He stressed that organizational strengthening must go hand in hand with ideological clarity and public service. He said BJP workers must remain committed to the principles of Nation First, Antyodaya, good governance and inclusive development.
Ashok Koul further emphasized that the party has earned increasing public trust in Kashmir and that this trust must be converted into sustained grassroots engagement. Similar organizational reviews in Kashmir have stressed reaching the benefits of Modi government schemes to even the remotest areas and ensuring that workers effectively communicate the party’s ideology and public-oriented policies.
Koul directed the district and constituency teams to prepare effectively for upcoming programmes, maintain regular organizational reporting and ensure maximum participation of workers and the public. He said that a strong booth organization, disciplined cadre and constant public contact would enable the BJP to further expand its presence in Shopian and across Kashmir.
