DODA: A 3 month short duration training in Handloom Weaving commenced today at Handloom Training Centre Malwas- Doda organised under Integrated Wool Development Program (IWDP) of Central Wool Board. A batch of 15 individuals will be part of the Short Term Training Programme in Weaving of handloom items.
Assistant Director Handloom Development, Pardeep Kumar Shan inaugurated the training programme. He briefed the trainees about the entire process of handloom weaving and diversification of handloom products. He also briefed the Master trainer and Trainees about the training module and post training benefits including the incentives offered under different Schemes of Handloom Development Department.
The Program was also attended by the Senior Instructor Abid Hussain Wani; AHTO Handicrafts Lakhvir Singh Rana and other officials of Handloom Development Department Doda.
