DODA: A newly developed playground was inaugurated today at Government Girls High School Chilly Pingal by District Development Council (DDC) Chairman, Dhananter Singh Kotwal as part of the Good Governance Week Campaign. A large number of locals and government functionaries were present at the inaugural ceremony. The facility is developed to promote sports, physical fitness and overall development of students, especially girls.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Din Mohammad Afaqi, BDO, education department officials and other district and block-level officers directly interacted with the people and noted their grievances raised before the DDC chairman.
The local residents projected demands seeking up-gradation of educational infrastructure, basic amenities and meeting other development needs. The DDC Chairman gave a patient hearing and issued directions to the concerned departments for time-bound redressal.
Meanwhile, another outreach programme was organized at Changa, where officials interacted with the public, reviewed ongoing works and assessed developmental requirements.
