• District Adm emphasises on citizen-centric service delivery

REASI: The week-long Good Governance Week campaign “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” concluded today in District Reasi with a renewed commitment to transparent, accountable and citizen-friendly administration.  The campaign was conducted under the overall guidance of Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik, with the active participation of all line departments.

On the concluding day, multiple outreach camps, awareness programmes and grievance redressal activities were organized across the district to ensure last-mile delivery of government services. A large number of citizens availed on-the-spot services related to revenue, social welfare, agriculture, health, education, rural development and other key sectors.

During the week, the District Administration Reasi addressed public grievances, resolved long-pending issues, facilitated enrolment under various welfare schemes and generated awareness about government initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens. Special focus was laid on vulnerable sections, including farmers, women, senior citizens and youth.

The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the coordinated efforts of all departments and field functionaries and emphasized that good governance is a continuous process. She reiterated the administration’s commitment to strengthening participatory governance and ensuring that public services remain accessible, efficient and transparent.
