SRINAGAR: The installation of State of the art Ultrasonography machine marks a significant advancement in veterinary healthcare services for livestock at the Central Veterinary Hospital (CVH) Srinagar to address long standing challenges in providing accurate and timely diagnosis for animals in the region.
The inauguration was presided over by Director, Animal Husbandry Department Kashmir, Dr. Sheik Mohammad Younis, alongside officers including Joint Director Research, Zakura, Dr. Feroz Ahmad Malik, Superintendent of Hospital, Dr Syed Altaf Gilani, Deputy Director Central, Dr. Reyaz Nazir Reshi, Deputy Director Poultry, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Srinagar, and other officers/officials of the Department.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director highlighted the importance of installed state of the art USG machine and appreciated the efforts of Superintendent Hospital and his team of officers/Officials. He said that Animal Husbandry Department Kashmir is committed to improve the animal healthcare services in the region by advancement in diagnostic services, besides providing awareness to common public regarding various zoonotic diseases, thereby safeguarding public health. The Director also released Central Veterinary Manaul- 2025 on the auspicious occasion.
