JAMMU: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS) strongly condemned the reported atrocities and brutalities against the Hindu minority in Bangladesh. The condemnation was made during an emergency meeting convened at Mahajan Bhawan, Shalamar Road, Jammu, under the presidentship of Shri Romesh Chander Gupta.

All members present in the meeting unanimously expressed serious concern over the situation of Hindus living in Bangladesh and emphasized that India, being the only neighboring Hindu-majority country, has a moral and humanitarian responsibility to safeguard the interests of the Hindu minority there.

The Sabha resolved that the Government of India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, should take appropriate and effective action against the Bangladesh government to ensure the safety and protection of Hindus. It was further demanded that the matter be raised at international forums to exert pressure on Bangladesh to protect the rights and lives of its Hindu citizens.

Several prominent members of the Sabha, including Shri Shiv Partap Gupta, Shri Harinder Gupta (Senior Vice President), Shri Prabh Dayal Gupta, Dr. Mohan Lal Gupta, Shri Surinder Gupta, Shri Balbir Gupta, Shri Kulbhushan Gupta, Shri Raguber Gupta, Shri Balraj Gupta, Shri Atul Gupta, Shri Satpal Gupta, Shri Arun Kumar Gupta, Shri Rajneesh Gupta, Dr. Mritunjay Gupta, Shri Romesh Gupta and Shri Ravi Rohmtera, were present in the meeting. The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Shri Sanjay Mahajan, General Secretary of the Sabha.
