POONCH: In continuation to the “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” campaign, District Administration Poonch hosted extensive public outreach, awareness activities and field-level engagement on the sixth day of Good Governance Week.
A series of outreach programmes were organized across Balakote, Surankote, Lasana, Bufliaz, Loran, Mankote, Mendhar, NSSB, Sathra, Mandi and Poonch where government functionaries listened and addressed public grievances provided varied services and generated public awareness about the Government schemes.
A medical camp was held at Village KG Dharati (Aspirants Block Mankote), where a team of doctors provided OPD services to local people by conducting screening for Hypertension, Diabetes, Anaemia Tuberculosis and ANC Check-up. Senior citizens were registered for Vay Vandna Card. The people were also imparted awareness on National Health Programs. Similar medical camps were held in other parts of the district.
