KULGAM: District Industries Centre (DIC) Kulgam today organized an awareness programme for students at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Yaripora. General Manager DIC, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Lone, Principal Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Yaripora, Functional Manager DIC, Kulgam, IPOs and other resource persons were present in the programme.
Addressing the participants, the General Manager spoke about industrialization and its importance and sensitized the participants about the different schemes and incentives of the Industries and Commerce Department. He also sensitized the participants about prevailing drug menace and urged them to stay away from such activities and be focused to achieve their goals.
During the programme detailed sessions regarding benefits under PMEGP, NCSS, MSME, PM Vishwakarama and Land Allotment were discussed to encourage participants to initiate their start ups.
