RAJOURI: The District Administration Rajouri, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Abhishek Sharma, organised a Public Grievances Redressal and Service Delivery Camp at Tourism Park near the historic Chingus Fort.
The camp was presided over by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Malikzada Sheraz ul Haq, who interacted with the local public, listened to their issues and directed concerned officers for prompt redressal.
The residents from Chingus and adjoining areas projected a wide range of grievances and developmental demands, seeking establishment of a Police Post, Construction of a canal in Sangpur, check on illegal mining, restoration of Water Supply Scheme at Sangpur, Upgradation of ChingusāMakolgala road, construction of sanitary complexes at Dhanwan, completion of DuganiāChakli road, provision of an outdoor gym, upgradation of Middle School Pind Narian, Trauma Hospital, ATM service, rationalisation of staff in government schools, blacktopping of NarianāDugani road & provision of electric poles.
The ADDC issued on-the-spot directions to the respective departments for early resolution of the issues projected by the public. He emphasised the need for improved service delivery and assured that all genuine grievances would be addressed in a time-bound manner.
District and sectoral officers present at the camp responded to the queries raised by the public and also spread awareness about the government schemes and welfare programmes.
The camp witnessed active public participation, reaffirming the Administrationās commitment to taking governance to the doorstep of citizens. All district and sectoral officers attended the public grievance redressal camp.
