AWANTIPORA: The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), recently concluded its annual fest DynaMecX 4.0. The two-day event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Mechanical Engineering and various other departments.
The fest was inaugurated in the presence of Prof. A.H. Moon (Dean Academic Affairs), Dr. Ruheela Hassan (Dean Outreach), and Dr. Shahkar Nahvi (I/C Dean, School of Engineering & Technology). Highlights of the fest included the CAD design competition CAD Mania, Scrap to Spark model-making from recycled materials, Fun with Physics, Treasure Hunt, and a series of recreational and competitive activities. During the valedictory ceremony, University Finance Officer Mr. Sameer Wazir, and Dean of Students Dr. Asifa Baba, applauded the participants and organizers for their efforts in showcasing IUST’s dedication to promoting innovation, teamwork, and creativity, setting a high benchmark for future editions
