RAJOURI: The Department of Youth Services and Sports Rajouri organized Shotput and Tug of War competitions for All age boys and girls under the aegis of ongoing Rural Sports Mela being held at the Mini Stadium Sports Complex Rajouri.
The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth across different blocks of the district, creating a vibrant and competitive sporting atmosphere while showcasing the athletic talent and team spirit of the region. In the Tug of War finals, Manjakote emerged victorious in the boys category by defeating Baljarallan, while Doongi clinched the title in the girls category after overpowering Nowshera.
The closely contested matches kept the spectators engaged and reflected remarkable strength, coordination and determination among the participants. In the Shotput competition, Manjakote bagged the Gold Medal in the boys division, while Doongi claimed the Gold Medal in the girls division. The outstanding performances were widely appreciated by the officials present and the audience.
