UDHAMPUR: A meeting to review the progress of Rural Development Department schemes in Block Tikri was convened today under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (Nodal Officer for RDD schemes) Jugal Kishore. Local Block Development Officer Dheeraj Sharma convened the meeting.
The ADDC reviewed the progress achieved under MGNREGA, PMAY- G, SBM -G and ADP. He directed the concerned officials to ensure timely completion of targets and effective implementation of all schemes. He further emphasized the need to promptly address public grievances of the Tikri block to improve service delivery and development outcomes.
As part of his field visit to Panchayat Mand West, the ADDC inspected the existing Bowli at Manthal, which was found to be in a dilapidated condition. On-the-spot directions were issued for its renovation and beautification, along with improvement of the surrounding area. He also urged local shopkeepers and residents to maintain cleanliness and ensure proper waste disposal.
The ADDC also visited Government Higher Secondary School, Tikri, where he inspected the Community Sanitary Complex CSC located within the school premises. He instructed the officials to maintain the CSCs in a hygienic condition for optimal use. During the visit, the ADDC was accompanied by the Block Development Officer, Tikri and other officials of the Rural Development Department.
