KATHUA: A one-day Party Workers Conference was organized in Hiranagar Madin area on Sunday as part of the Jan Sampark Abhiyaan being run by the Bahujan Samaj Party across the state in view of the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. During the conference, a large number of people, including former Brigadier Balveer Singh, left other political parties and Joined the Bahujan Samaj Party, who were welcomed into the party by Bahujan Samaj Party Jammu and Kashmir President Darshan Rana, who was present in the program.
Apart from this, the party's state vice-president Charanjit Chargotra, General secretary Sunil Majotra, state treasurer Hari Chand Thapa, District President Raman Kumar, Chaman Lal, Puran Chand and Banarsi Das, along with other senior party leaders and hundreds of party workers were present. On this occasion, BSP President Darshan Rana welcomed former Brigadier Balveer Singh, Mangal Dass, Sandeep Majotra, Kuldeep Verma and Balvir Singh others who joined the Party and said that more and more people joining the party before the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir shows that the public is very happy with the BSP policies and the public wants the Bahujan Samaj Party to come to power in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that in the coming days, the Bahujan Samaj Party will continue the Jan Sampark abhiyaan across the state and more and more people will be connected with the party. He said that the Bahujan Samaj Party is fully prepared for the assembly elections to be held in Jammu and Kashmir and the party will field its candidates in every assembly constituency of Jammu and Kashmir. He asked the people joining the Bahujan Samaj Party to take the party policies to the common people because the BSP is the only political party in the country that talks about the rights of the backward and other class of the society.
On this occasion, along with the state vice president of the party Charanjit Chargotra, other leaders also expressed their views and made people aware about the ideology of the party.Former Brigadier Balveer Singh, who joined the Bahujan Samaj Party, said that impressed by the policies of the Bahujan Samaj Party, he has decided to join the party today and by joining the party, he will contribute to the service of the society. On this occasion, District President Raman Kumar welcomed all the people and said that the public relations campaign will be intensified by the party in District Kathua regarding the assembly elections.
