REASI: Road Safety Club in Collaboration with NSS Unit of GDC Katra organised a quiz Competition on the theme "Freedom Movement of India" in the Government Degree College (GDC) Katra.
The program was conducted under the able guidance of the Principal, Dr. Rajni Bhagat, whose support and encouragement were instrumental in the successful conduct of programme. The event saw enthusiastic participation of students, who were divided into three teams—Team A, Team B, and Team C.
The competition consisted of three rounds each team was asked five questions per round. After an intense and closely contested battle of wits, Team A comprising Shubham Gupta, Akshit Prashar and Amit Sharma emerged victorious, showcasing their in-depth knowledge of India's rich history and its struggle for independence.
The event was coordinated by Professor Mohammad Younus Saleem, who ensured its smooth execution. Prof. Shikha Bhasin served as the scorer who maintained an accurate record of the scores throughout the competition. Dr. Usha Sharma (HOD Sociology) and Dr. Harmeet Kour (HOD Punjabi) were also present on the occasion.
