KUPWARA: In a bid to promote voter awareness and engagement, a Mehndi art competition was organized today by the students of KGBV Kupwara, as a part of the ongoing Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation program (SVEEP). This Competition was organized on the directions of the District Election Officer (DEO) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan to spread awareness among people particularly young voters for participating in the upcoming assembly elections with enthusiasm.
Mehndi Art competition aimed to instill democratic values among newly eligible voters, with participants showcasing their artistic talents through intricate Mehndi designs. Female students of KGBV enthusiastically participated in the competition which served as a creative platform to deepen understanding and engagement with the electoral process, reinforcing the importance of every individualâs contribution in shaping the future of the nation through responsible voting.
