KUPWARA: In order to review the progress of estimations, work allotments, execution of allotted works, and expenditure on spillover works under various sectors, the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kupwara Arshid Qadir Bhat today convened a meeting with all Block Development Officers (BDOs), Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs), Assistant Engineers (AEs), Junior Engineers (JEs), Dealing Assistants, and SDCs.
During the meeting, the ACD directed the concerned officers to submit all pending estimates under various sectors within one week and ensure financial closure of ongoing works within the current month.
The Executive Engineer REW Kupwara was instructed to achieve 100% tendering of approved works and issue work allotments to successful bidders before the next review meeting.
The ACD emphasized the need for strict adherence to timelines and called for ensuring timely execution of all allotted works. He stressed on maintaining transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the implementation of developmental programmes across the district
