Local artists, through skits and songs, urged people to celebrate Diwali with care, avoid excessive use of firecrackers and adopt eco-friendly ways to mark the joyous festival. Through lively Acts and music, the message of safety, environmental protection, care for the vulnerable populations and caution was effectively conveyed to the audience.
A large number of locals attended the programme and appreciated the department for the initiative aimed at spreading awareness on celebrating Diwali in a responsible and environment-friendly manner.
