DODA: In line with the directives from the Mission Director Poshan J&K, a District Level Awareness Programme was organized by the District Programme Officer Doda, Paramjeet Singh at the CDPO Office in Bhaderwah. The event, held in collaboration with CDPO Bhaderwah, aimed to raise awareness on various social and health initiatives, particularly those under the Poshan Abhiyaan.

The programme was graced by the presence of DDC Councillor Thakur Yudhvir, along with officers from various departments, including Tehsildar Bhaderwah, Kamalpreet Singh and Naib-Tehsildar Bhaderwah Parampreet Singh. The event also saw participation from prominent citizens, social workers, supervisors, Anganwadi Workers, Anganwadi Helpers, and local women from the Bhaderwah area.

A variety of activities were conducted during the event, including skits, poems, and speeches, all aimed at spreading awareness on crucial topics such as Swachhta (cleanliness), the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), Poshan (nutrition), breastfeeding, and the importance of a balanced diet. These activities underscored the significance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene as part of overall health and well-being.

Additionally, a drawing competition was organized among Poshan beneficiaries, focusing on themes related to Swachhta and nutrition. The competition served as an engaging platform for participants to express their understanding of these critical issues, further promoting the message of the awareness campaign.
