KULGAM: Continuing unwavering efforts to bridge the gap between police & public, J&K Police facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Station Devsar.
The meeting was chaired by SDPO Qazigund Shri Mansoor Ahmad. Besides, SHO Police Station Devsar, other senior officers/officials of Kulgam police, Prominent citizens including members of Auqaf committees, Chowkidars, Numberdars especially youth of Village Devsar, Pahloo, Guddar and other adjacent villages participated.
During these meeting, participants raised various issues of public importance. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, chairing officer assured them that genuine issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities for their immediate redressal besides issues related to Police will be resolved in shortest possible time.
The Participants were stressed to co-operate with Police in maintaining law and order in the area and in identification of anti-national elements who try to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere. The meeting concluded on a positive note with the commitment that police and public will work in tandem towards eradicating the evils from the society.
