JAMMU: Final selection of 14 Sub Inspector aspirants of OBC Category was held in abeyance due to non-production of OSC certificates as required and finally selected after a gap of 4 months when the issue of  their OBC Certificates was resolved with the intervention and dedicated efforts by Sunil Prajapati, President BJP OBC Morcha, J&K UT.  

These 14 SI aspirants thanks BJP President Ravinder Raina and Sunil Prajapati  President BJP OBC Morcha in BJP Office Bahu Constituency in Presence of Kavinder Gupta (Former Dy CM) and Rekha Mahajan (District President Jammu South) ,Raj Kumar Tarkhan (General Secretary OBC Morcha), Anil Balgotra (Secretary OBC Morcha) and Ram Pal (District President OBC Morcha) on confirmation of their final selection. 

The aspirants expressed that their issue of OBC Certificates could be resolved  with the dedicated efforts and constant vigil by Sunil Prajapati over the ongoing office activities in resolving their issue. The OBC Certificates which were produced by 14 SI Aspirants of OBC category alongwith other documents at the time of final selection were objected by JKSSB and they were asked to produce OSC Certificates. The aspirants were not issued the OSC certificates by the Revenue Department after conversation of J&K State to UT but only Centre OBC Certificate were issued.

Sunil Prajapati, President BJP OBC Morcha raised the issue of OBC Certificates at appropriate level and also had meetings with Commissioner Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Chairman J&K Service Selection Board and Nodel Officer Revenue Department and subsequently it was found that 14 SI aspirants were not issued OSC certificates by the Revenue Department presuming that UT is under Centre thus Centre OBC will be valid appropriate.  

Their OBC certificates were  objected by the JKSSB at the time of selection for the SI posts and the aspirants were asked to produce the OSC certificates as applicable for the J&K UT Govt jobs.  The aspirants approached the President BJP OBC Morcha, who raised their issue with Revenue  these 14 aspirants were not issued OSC certificates, but OBC Certificate only which were valid for centre Govt jobs and not for State Govt jobs.  

The case was examined at the appropriate level and the Revenue department issued directions that their OBC Certificates  be modified and amended, so that selection of these 14 aspirants  could be finalized.   Consequently after amendment of OBC Certificates of all SI aspirants, their selection was finalised after a delay of three months.  The aspirants expressed their thanks for such a great help in their selection by Sunil Prajapati, who played a great role in resolving their issue with his constant efforts in raising the issue of SI aspirants from OBC Category.
