JAMMU: In a strong statement, Pawan Sharma, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), former state secretary and Prabhari of District Doda, demanded DNA testing for individuals who have used abusive language against the Hindu community in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly. Sharma made this statement while addressing karyakartas during a BJP Mandal Mohalla introductory meeting in Doda District. He emphasized the need to identify and punish those who indulge in hate speech and abuse against the Hindu community.
Sharma's demand for DNA testing is seen as a call for accountability and a strong message against those who seek to divide society through hate speech. The BJP leader's statement has sparked a debate on the need for stricter laws and penalties against hate speech and abuse. Pawan Sharma urged party workers to work tirelessly and with dedication to strengthen the party's base in Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized the need to counter the divisive forces that seek to undermine the region's stability.
Sharma's call to action is particularly significant in the context of Jammu and Kashmir's complex political landscape. The region has faced numerous challenges, including terrorism, separatism, and social unrest, which have threatened to destabilize the area. By encouraging party workers to consolidate the party's base, Sharma aims to promote a sense of unity and cohesion among the people of Jammu and Kashmir. This, in turn, can help to counter the nefarious designs of divisive forces that seek to exploit the region's vulnerabilities.
Sharma's leadership and vision are crucial in this context, as he seeks to inspire party workers to work tirelessly towards a common goal. By doing so, he hopes to create a more stable and prosperous future for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting was organized by Mandal President Mohalla Satya Sharma and chaired by District President BJP Doda Babu Ram Sharma. District Vice President BJP Doda Soniya Rao, Mandal President Chilly Pingal Hardeep Manhas were among the prominent speakers. The meeting also decided to organize upcoming party programs, including Mann Ki Baat on March 30, BJP's foundation day on April 6, and Social Equality Day on April 14, at each booth.
